Lisa Pleasance - Owner

​

My love of horses began at age seven when I started competing in the local Southern California shows. With years of dedication and practice, I won the USET Medal Finals West Coast in 1987 and multiple 1.2M Mini Prixs thereafter. Throughout my journey, I have had the honor to train with amazing trainers including Joe Lifto, Patty Foltz-McCarty, Sherry Rose/Tommy Lowe, Karen Healey, David Murdock, and Catherine Cruger. 

 

My husband Darren and our two children, Chris and Lauren, moved to Bend fourteen years ago. After many years of searching, we found the perfect piece of land in Tumalo to build our dream farm. Joining forces with my long-time friend and owner/trainer of Starnes Equestrian, Simone Starnes, we created a well thought out equestrian facility and named it Meridian Peaks Farm! Our hope is to share our compassion, expertise, and state of the art facility with other horse lovers!

The care and well being of all Meridian Peaks Farm's horses, ponies, chickens, cats, and dogs is the most important aspect of our farm. We will provide professional coaching  to guide you through your show jumping goals and the best animal care providers, veterinary and ancillary services in the local area. Team MPF!
